Join Stand Up To Racism and the TUC by Taking Online Action on Thursday 18 February

The TUC and Stand Up To Racism have called for a day of mobilisation on Thursday 18 February, using the day to build awareness and participation in preparation for UN Anti Racism Day on 20 March.

On 18 February, across social media, unions, local groups, campaigns, faith and community organisations and individuals are encouraged to promote UN Anti Racism Day by joining in with a number of simple online actions.

Here are a few of things you can do to support the mobilisation:

  1. Add their custom made Facebook filter to your profile picture to build awareness for UN Anti Racism Day -
  2. Download Stand Up To Racism’s poster from their website, take a picture with it and tag them with'@Antiracismday on Twitter using the hashtag #NoRacismNoFascism & #WorldAgainstRacism, or @Stand Up To Racism on Facebook, and @Standuptoracismuk on Instagram.
  3. Invite your family and friends to their international rally on Saturday 20 March 5:00 pm.

In Britain, UN Anti Racism Day on 20 March will include safely socially distanced actions where possible, combined with international linked online actions – including a major global rally at 5:00 pm.
