ITV Agreement

Agreement

The agreement between ITV and the Musicians' Union applies to in-house ITV productions, and sets out the minimum terms and conditions for engaging session musicians for ITV content. The agreement covers:

  • live sessions and the broadcasting of events
  • musicians engaged to record specially composed music (e.g. titles, jingles or incidental music)
  • the reuse of existing performance footage
  • secondary exploitation of musicians’ performances (e.g. TV sales, DVD and DTO)
  • rates for signed bands and artists (Self-Contained Groups).

Rates of pay and fees effective from 1 January 2025
