T5 Substitution document is an agreement for those teaching privately in a school who require a substitute to cover their work for a set period of time.

The contract must be signed by both the teacher and the substitute, and covers important areas such as school details and term dates, payment and taxation, and confidentiality and intellectual property.

The T5 contract is intended to be used as a template which may as appropriate be adapted by teachers to fit their specific circumstances - it is not a one size fits all document.
