Theatre Agreements and Rates of Pay The MU negotiates and agrees minimum terms and conditions, including rates of pay, for employed and self-employed theatre musicians with all major UK theatres. Last updated: 03 November 2023 The MU has collective agreements for musicians covering National theatres and 'West End' theatres in London. We also have House Agreements with companies. Each of these organisations have unique and distinct ways of working.
