Orchestral musician Iona Brown shares her most poignant career moment as part of the Musician Behind the Moment campaign.
“Massed youth choirs with David Wilcocks, accompanied by my youth orchestra, the Leicestershire Schools’ Chamber Orchestra.
“A capacity audience that was very enthusiastic and overwhelmed by the music.
“When the choir started to sing [Handel’s] ‘Zadok the Priest’, it was so exciting all my hair stood up on end. It was a definitive moment in deciding that I wanted to become a professional musician.”
