The recorded music used in the current UK tour of War Horse will be re-recorded using UK musicians.

A non-UK recording had been used on the previous tour.

Following positive and productive discussions between the Musicians' Union (MU) and National Theatre Productions, the music will be re-recorded and swapped into the touring show as soon as is practicable.

MU General Secretary, Music Industry, Naomi Pohl comments:

“We are delighted that a UK recording will be made and that this and future UK tours will generate usage fees for MU members under the MU / UK Theatre Agreement.”

For more information, please contact MU Head of Government Relations and Public Affairs Isabelle Gutierrez via isabelle.gutierrez@themu.org.
