MU Coronavirus Hardship Fund

Last updated: 01 January 2022

The MU launched the Coronavirus Hardship Fund in response to the widespread cancellation of work because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and we’re proud to have supported many members who faced hardship. This scheme has now ended and no further applications will be accepted.

The remaining funds are being transferred into the Union's long-standing Benevolent Fund. MU members facing financial hardship as a direct result of the Coronavirus pandemic are still be able to apply for a grant but will need to apply through the usual Benevolent Fund process.
