The Wedgewood Rooms and Edge of the Wedge

A 400 capacity, medium sized town centre venue, hosting live music including touring and tribute bands, comedy, theatre and club nights.

What we're looking for

We do offer some support slots in the main venue, but tend to give those local bands. There is more availability in the smaller venue Edge of the Wedge, for bands to organise and promote their own gigs.

About us

The Wedgewood Rooms (also known as 'The Wedge') is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) with a trading arm. The Edge of the Wedge is a smaller space which also hosts live music and boutique club nights. Musically we cover everything from heritage acts to new up and coming acts.

How to get a gig

For support slots – we will put out details on our social media if there is a slot available on a specific gig – full instructions will be given of what to provide. If a band wants to organise their own gig in Edge of the Wedge, then please email info@wedgewood-rooms.co.uk.

Here at The Wedge we feel that all our events should be inclusive, and we welcome customers with disabilities.
