What we're looking for

In addition to hosting touring acts, we promote a lot of our own shows and, wherever possible, offer support slots to local artists. We also regularly programme shows in smaller venues around the city to support emerging artists.

We are open to receiving and implementing green riders (in relation to environmental impact and sustainability). 

About us

Our artistic programme covers multiple genres, including orchestral, rock, pop, and indie, and takes place across our four performance spaces. Each year we put on over 800 gigs and festivals, including 60 free performances and six major festivals to an audience of over 300,000.

How to get a gig

Artists can use the artistic enquiries email with details about themselves, links to their work and previous shows they may have done. The email is artistic.enquiries@bristolbeacon.org. These go to the Programming Team and are reviewed weekly.

Due to the number of enquiries we receive we can’t always respond personally to each artist. Alternatively, we can receive enquiries via the contact us form on the website. 

Accessibility

We subscribe to the social model of disability. We are in the process of applying for ‘Gold Level’ in Attitude is Everything's Live Events Access Charter.

Dressing rooms and stages are level access, we encourage all artists to submit access riders during advancing, and our staff are trained in disability equality. Find out more via our access page.
