About the event
The Wales & South West England (WSWE) Members' Day and AGM is an opportunity to engage with your Regional Officials and fellow MU members, access workshop sessions, and hear about the work we've been doing on your behalf across the region.
Schedule
9:45am - 10am: Registration
10am - 11am: 'Money, It's a Hit' workshop
A one-hour finance and accounting workshop for musicians with Sinéad Pratschke from Musicians' Tax Advisor.
11am - 11:30am: Break/Refreshments
Refreshments will be provided.
11:30am - 1pm: AGM
A report on the regional team's work and plans for the future with feedback from members, There will also be an update on national issues from Phil Kear, MU Assistant General Secretary.
The AGM is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share feedback and discuss issues affecting musicians across the region. If there is a particular issue you believe the MU should be acting on, you can raise it for discussion. Alternatively, you can propose a motion, which is a formal call for action that, if agreed by the meeting, will be referred to the Executive Committee for consideration.

1pm - 2pm: Lunch
Lunch will be provided.
2pm - 3pm: Celebrating and Building Success Discussion
A discussion on projects supporting black musicians, and advice for all musicians on building your profile and international exports with Kwame Safo (BLACMEX), Ify Iwobi (BWMA), and Roxana Vilk.
3pm - 4:30pm: Refreshments/Social
A chance to meet with other MU members in your area, start up those conversations, and build your networks.

Accessibility
We want the Members' Day to be as accessible as possible. It's totally free to attend, with lunch and refreshments provided, or you can join us online. Reasonable travel expenses to and from the day can also be paid to enable members to attend in person.
Future Inns should be accessible, with a step-free entrance, lift access, wide doors, and fully accessible toilets, as well as disabled parking bays nearby.
