About the event

Is your CV working as hard as it can to promote you to potential employers and clients? Are you meeting competency expectations when completing an online application form? In this workshop, you'll:

  • Learn how to focus your CV to the needs of recruiters
  • Understand competence when completing application forms and covering letters
  • Essential interview preparation.

By the end of the session you should be able to:

  • Refine your CV to use it in a more targeted way
  • Demonstrate competence for job description criteria
  • Have increased confidence for interviews.

Workshop attenders will need to bring an electronic copy of a current CV to the session for use in a practical task. It would also be useful to scan current job vacancies in advance so you have an example of a role you would be interested in applying for in the future.

How to attend

Available for members in Wales only.

Tickets cost £15 for MU members, or £25 full price for non-members.

The course will be held in English, but a full description of the course (including more about the trainer, cancellation and refunds policy), is also available in Welsh via the booking link.
