Before retraining as a Financial Adviser, Ed spent many years working as a professional musician, first in full-time employment and later as a self-employed freelancer. Music remains a central part of his life, and he continues to perform weekly as a choir director, organist, accompanist, and singer, as well as undertaking occasional recording projects.
He holds a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours, a PhD in Choral Composition, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.
