BAPAM
The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) is the UK's leading medical charity dedicated to supporting the health of performers and creative industry professionals.
Its clinician-led team specialises in the unique physical and mental health challenges faced by those working in the performing arts, offering expert support for issues including mental health, performance-related pain, hearing, vocal health and returning to work following illness or injury.
Around three in four performers will experience a work-related health issue during their career. BAPAM works closely with the creative industries to promote healthier working practices, encourage early intervention and ensure performers have access to specialist care when they need it most.
