About Suzanne Poulter
Specialist woodwind and piano instructor with an extensive 35 year teaching career and 44 years as a professional player.
I offer premium, one-to-one practical and theoretical music tuition for children and adults across all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Lessons are flexible, available face-to-face and online.
My Teaching Philosophy:
I firmly believe that music is a powerful form of therapy and a universal tool for communication. My goal is to help every student expres themselves freely and discover their unique voice through music. This inclusive approach was shaped by m diverse career across private and state schools as well as Pupil Referral Units (PRU) supporting children with special educational needs.
ABRSM Exam Success:
For students wishing to pursue formal qualifications, I provide comprehensive preparation for ABRSM exams. Whether enteringfor Practical or Performance grades
Alongside teaching, I maintain an active performing career as the flunder and performer with Chiltern Flute Ensemble.
