About Pat McGarvey
5 String Banjo player based in Edinburgh (also sings and plays electric bass, guitar and keyboards). Full time musician and member of the MU for many years. Worked in many different genres and currently runs/helps run Southern Tenant Folk Union, The Banjo Lounge 4, The Incredibly Strange Film Band and the electronic duo TST: The Southern Tenant. Past bands include The Coal Porters and The Arlenes. Lots of songwriting, producing, touring, recording, gigging and teaching music experience.
