About Nicole Burnard

Hello, I’m Nicole. I'm a peripatetic drum teacher based in Buckinghamshire. I have taught in various academic settings for over 5 years. I have gained a wealth of knowledge from teaching primary-aged pupils to college students in one-to-one lessons. I teach drums at The Music Works, The Music Base and at Alpha Preparatory School (ranked no.2 in the UK national preparatory school league tables - according to the 'Independent School Inspectorate').

I believe it’s essential that every learner I teach gets the best education possible - that’s why I make it my mission to cater to each individual’s needs through fun, interactive lessons that include teaching materials for various learner types and communication styles. I have training in first aid, safety in education and safeguarding young people. I am fully DBS checked with public liability insurance and hold a full clean UK driver's licence.

A little about my background:

I am extremely eclectic musically, my tastes range from classical to metal and everything in between. I have over 8.5 years of experience playing in different bands, playing a mix of genres in various contexts including established London venues / recording studios as well as touring around the UK. I love discovering new music with interesting stylistic elements that I can incorporate into my lessons keeping them both engaging & educational.
