About Neil Browning
I've been in professional bands of all kinds - medieval quartet 'Dragonsfire', my ceilidh outfit 'Band Y Braichmelyn', my slightly odd folk band 'Never Mind the Bocs', blues band 'The Jukes', afro-latin 9-piece 'Banda Bacana', Gypsy Jazz with Billy Thompson and Andy Mackenzie, folk rock (emphasis on the rock!) with 'Bluehorses'... the list goes on. I've recorded albums with most of these groups, and in many cases engineered and produced too.
During Covid lockdown, I produced a series of Gypsy Jazz playalong tracks (often with my wry humour coming through!) on YouTube.
I've taught music and music technology in Further Education, and have been an instrumental teacher for over 30 years.
