NatJacobT is a Plymouth artist fusing moody folk and alt-pop, delivering emotive originals and vibrant storytelling of love, loss and hope.

My first work as a musician was when I was in college in 2011, I was working at a small time Italian restaurant, playing music to customers to set the mood. From that I have continued to work on a part time basis and built an extensive experience of working as a House Musician for Restaurants and pubs, playing 2 to 3 hours a night.

From 2018 to 2025 I worked full time and part time as a Music Teacher in a secondary School setting. During my role as a part time Music Teacher I worked on the side as a guitar tutor for a company called Rock Project.

From 2021 to present I have been playing bass and lead vocals in a three-piece, alternative rock outfit called In August. We've released two eps and currently working on our third, we have played around up and down the Devon county and hope to move out Bristol and other big cities in the new year.

My solo project NatJacobT has been around since 2016 but in recent months I have set goals to record music more regularly and promote myself more professional as a stand alone act that can have more reliance on songwriting rather than covers.
