Mike Horne is one of South Africas most In-demand, and Respected, Professional Session Drummers, for live touring and studio recording, and has recently relocated to London UK.
- Mike studied a BMus Degree, in Jazz Performance, at the University Of Cape Town. He toured with The U.C.T Jazz Big Band, The Standard Bank National Youth Big Band, and was one of the founding members of the elite Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Band, in 2001 & again in 2002.

- Mike has worked with international artists including, Harold Japhta (SA/SWDN), Ron McCurdy (USA), Bill Prince (USA), Bruce Cassidy (Canada), Jack Van Poll (NDL) Hein Van De Guyn (NDL), Koos Mark (NDL), Lee Gold (UK) Earl Okin (UK), Steve Waterman (UK), Tristan Keyte (UK), eVoid (UK), and Massimo Morganti (Italy, Horacio Hernandez, Bob Mintzer).
- Mike has also toured Internationally, to a variety of countries including The UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, and Slovenia! Mike has also shared stages with the likes of Dianne Schuur, Gerald Albright, Courtney Pine, Lagwagon, The Mad Caddies, NoFx, Foreigner, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, Seether and Metallica.
- Mike has also toured SA nationally, as the drummer for Grammy Award winning, USA Rock ‘n Roll legend... ED ROLAND of COLLECTIVE SOUL!
- Since relocating to London UK, Mike's carrer has gone from strength to strength, and has so-far worked with the likes of Julian Burdock, Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse), Lee Gold, Chris Jerome (Mica Paris), Kevin Glasgow (Tim Garland, Jason Robello), Jay Phelps, eVoid, Brandon Allen, Vasillis Xenopoulous, Quentin Collins, Steve Waterman, Fulvio Sigurta, Steve Fishwick, and british jazz legend, Dave O'higgins.
