Massimo Avellano

About Massimo Avellano

I’m a professional bass player with extensive experience performing live, working with bands, artists and musicians across a wide range of settings.

My playing is rooted in soul, funk, pop and rock, with a strong focus on groove, feel and supporting the music. I’m comfortable working across different styles and environments, from live venues and festivals to weddings, corporate events, private functions and session work.

I’m currently the bass player with soul and funk band Dutty Rascal, a project I’ve been part of for over 10 years, and I have also worked with The Rock Project.

I’m an experienced and reliable live musician, comfortable learning material quickly, working from set lists and adapting to different bands and musical situations. I take a professional approach to rehearsals, performances and working with other musicians.

Based in Weybridge, Surrey, I’m available for session work, dep gigs, touring, functions, recording projects and collaborations across London, the South East and further afield.

I’m always interested in connecting with artists, bands, producers and other musicians for professional projects.
