About Lucia Porcedda
Lucia Porcedda is an Italian clarinetist based in London. Currently PHILHARMONIA MMSF Instrumental Woodwind Fellow, she was BBCSO Pathway Scheme fellow ‘23/‘24 and clarinetist in Sinfonia Smith Square (former Southbank Sinfonia) ‘22/‘23. She performed with orchestras including BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera and Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Lucia studied at the Royal Academy of Music (Master’s with Distinction) and the Royal College of Music (Artist Diploma), following earlier training in Cagliari, Rome, and Paris. A dedicated chamber musician, she co-founded Duo Motum and regularly collaborates on interdisciplinary projects with dancers.
