About Louis Barabbas
Songwriter primarily composing for musical theatre (Coraline, Jocasta, Wildfire Season) but in the past have written for rock, folk, jazz and pop artists, plus adverts and event commissions. I was the lead singer for rock-swing outfit The Bedlam Six for ten years and have toured the world both solo and accompanied. I was also a founding director of Manchester label Debt Records, a mentor for Brighter Sound and on the advisory board for Un-Convention. I was recently one of the project directors of Culture Collective (Stage Award winner for best community project), a Creative Scotland initiative funding community arts projects at a local level.
I also work as an on-call fire fighter.
