Songwriter, Ian Roland, writes and performs unique Roots, Contemporary Folk music, full of heart-strung orchestration and up-close, life-drenched lyrics. Recording with arranger-composer and violinist, Simon Yapp, and other Brighton based musicians, Ian performs live as a soloist and with other line-ups. Ian has supported acts such as Martin Simpson, The Black Feathers, Stick In The Wheel, TV Smith, Robb Johnson, Boo Hewerdine, Robert Vincent, 10cc’s Graham Gouldman, Joshua Ray Walker.
