About Erin Bruce
Erin is a freelance musical director and musician based between Dorset and London. Aged 17, she musically directed her first full musical, Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs), at the Layard Theatre. Her musical training continues through the MD Mentorship Scheme, under the guidance of renowned musical directors, Martin Lowe, Tom Brady and Amy Shackcloth.
Credits include Musical Director for Rachel Tucker: I’m Home (Babbacombe Theatre); Assistant Musical Director for Catastrophe Bay (National Youth Music Theatre, Southwark Playhouse); Musical Assistant for Avenue Q: 18th Anniversary Reunion Concert (Sondheim Theatre, London). Orchestration credits include Broadway Showtunes 2021-25 (Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth); London Musical Theatre Orchestra: Sitz Musicals.
Erin works for several local amateur dramatic organisations including Ringwood Musical and Dramatic Society and Bournemouth Musical Theatre Productions. She is also a member of Swing Unlimited Big Band.
