About Dimitris Kyriakidis

As a producer and guitarist, Dimitris has collaborated on independent projects with world-class music professionals whose work includes charting releases and Grammy Award-winning projects. His background includes contributing a guitar performance and an advanced rock guitar solo on a country-rock track that charted on iTunes in Greece and the UK and was promoted in New York City’s Times Square. His guitar work features on independent projects alongside Robin Beck and musicians associated with Whitesnake, Journey, Thin Lizzy, Joe Satriani, John Norum (Europe), Alice Cooper, UFO, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Billy Idol, Mr Big, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Brian May.

Guitar Performance & Session Work

Dimitris collaborated with the following people/bands only as a guitarist.

Wild Souls (Lions Pride Music). Guest soloist on the recording and the video clip of I Remember You. The guest appearance was video recorded at John Parr's studio.

Rebecca Bains (Onwards Records). Hard Road, on which he played some guitar parts, including the advanced guitar solo, and appeared on the promotional videos, reached No. 33 on the UK iTunes Country Chart and No. 29 on the Greek iTunes Chart. The single was promoted on a billboard in New York Times Square as part of the promotional campaign. He was hired again at a later date to perform at a gig with approximately 20,000 spectators (After Dark Fireworks Spectacular at Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield).

Higher Education Teaching

Since 2016, he has taught in Higher Education at the University of Salford, where his guitar performance teaching has supported student development across foundation, undergraduate, and Master's levels in a department ranked in The Guardian UK Top 30 for Music in 8 consecutive years (2018–2025), reaching a peak of 11th nationally in 2021. He is also currently (2026) included in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Visiting Lecturer Recruitment Pool (Music).
