About Dave Wilkinson
I’m an experienced sax and bass player currently playing bari sax with the "GT Big Band" and occasionally playing funk, soul, rock, ska, reggae and pop, on bari, tenor and alto sax and bass guitar with other local bands.
I'm available to play bass (and) or sax, from lead sheets, chord charts or written charts, live or in the studio. I enjoy playing any genre and have total respect for your creative requirements.
I'm happy to dep for one off or short term work. I read chord charts, lead sheets, treble and bass clef music, or play without charts. I enjoy improvising and can double on various instruments and help out on backing vocals.
I provide all my own professional standard equipment and have reliable transport.
I have original work under the name of "Blue Pfrog" (see Soundcloud link) and some work with covers bands in the video sections. "Bydlo" was produced as a soundtrack for a video (I don't have the rights to publish the video unfortunately).
