About Bev Whelan
I play tin whistle, Irish flute and low whistle to a professional standard. I have taught these instruments online since 2016. I perform with various bands/musicial partners, and also work as a ceilidh dance caller. I can provide a ceilidh band or a traditional Irish group, and I am available for solo performance, eg on TV/film/radio, weddings, funerals etc.
I work as a session recording musician, specialising in adding Celtic-themed tin whistle, low whistle and flute to music of any genre (most recent work with Christine Weir). I have my own home recording equipment so can work remotely.
