About Arina Brovanova

Arina Brovanova is a multi-instrumentalist and composer with extensive experience performing and recording with the piano and the cello. As a cellist, she has played with orchestras in Russia and the UK and participated in numerous recording sessions (including, in Abbey Road Studio 1) as a part of different ensembles. She is a co-founder and a musician of the London-based functional ensemble "Belle Quartet".

As a pianist, she has performed numerous solo recitals. Her piano repertoire includes music by classical and modern composers such as J. S. Bach, F. Chopin, Johann Strauss, M. Mussorgsky, Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi and many more. Her favourite concert pieces are Seasons by Tchaikovsky and Vagharshapat Dance by Arno Babajanian. Also, she has been teaching piano lessons since 2016.

Her Russian classical training provided her with a unique lens through which she composes today. She has also studied at the London College of Music (MMus Composition for Film and TV) and has broad experience in writing music for short films and videos (using Logic Pro, Cubase, Sibelius, and MuseScore). Her recent work is "The Last Landscape", dir. Katie Cox (https://vimeo.com/705788981). She holds DipLCM in Conducting and has experience in conducting the Camerata LCM Orchestra (for instance, Adagio from Spartacus by Aram Khachaturian). She is also interested in game audio and worked with FMOD and Unity as part of her Master`s Dissertation Project.
