About Adam Kenicer
I’m an Edinburgh-based guitar, bass and ukulele teacher and musician with more than 15 years’ experience teaching children, young people and adults.
I hold an MMus in Musicology from the University of Edinburgh and a BMus (Hons) from Edinburgh Napier University. I am also a qualified primary teacher, bringing a strong understanding of learning, progression and child development to my instrumental teaching.
I teach acoustic, electric and classical guitar, bass guitar and ukulele, from complete beginners to more experienced players. Lessons are clear, encouraging and shaped around each learner’s musical interests, whether they want to develop strong foundations, work towards graded assessments or simply enjoy playing their favourite music.
I teach privately and in schools across Edinburgh and the Lothians. I am a member of the PVG Scheme.
