Plymouth Culture has launched the Creative & Cultural Sector Survey 2025, following on from their 2020 study which explored the impact of Covid-19 on the local sector. This year’s expanded survey aims to capture a clear, up-to-date picture of the challenges, opportunities and priorities for people working in music, arts, performance, and cultural organisations across the city.

The findings will be used to:

  • Strengthen the case for greater local, regional and national investment
  • Improve the services and support available to creative professionals
  • Provide reliable evidence to inform future decisions by funders, partners and policymakers.

The MU is encouraging all members who live or work in Plymouth to take part. Your insights will help ensure that the voices of musicians and live music workers are heard in shaping the next phase of the city’s cultural development.

The anonymous survey takes around 10–15 minutes to complete, and all questions are voluntary. Results will be published on the Plymouth Culture website once the research is complete.

The deadline to take part is 15 December.
