The MU's Wales and South West England Regional Office is dedicated to supporting musicians and creative workers across the region. With years of experience, our staff understand the challenges of building a career in today’s music industry and are here to provide clear, practical advice.

We can help with musician contracts, freelance rights, legal advice for musicians, and guidance on live music regulations. From Cardiff and Swansea to Wrexham and Bangor, our experienced staff understand the opportunities and challenges of making music in Wales. In South West England, we support musicians and creative workers across the region, including Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth, Cornwall, and Dorset. With in-depth knowledge of the local industry, our staff can help you navigate both everyday challenges and long-term career planning.

As an MU member in Wales or South West England, you’ll have access to expert workplace advice, tailored support, and a wide range of membership benefits to protect and strengthen your work as a musician.

We are your first point of contact for anything and everything to do with your career as a musician across Wales and the border regions. We also cover Cheltenham, through Salisbury, Weymouth, and all the way down to Penzance.

MU employees are combining working from home and the office. This means that meetings and visits to an MU office are strictly by appointment only, and will need to be arranged in advance by contacting us.
