Classically Black 2026 returns to Kings Place, London on Saturday 10 October for a full day of music, discussion and celebration.

Now in its third year, Black Lives in Music’s flagship classical music event is returning to Kings Place in London to explore what classical music is and who it is relevant to in the 21st century.

Celebrating Black and global majority musicians and composers 

Celebrating Black and global majority musicians and composers in classical music past and present, the programme brings together performance, discussion, and emerging talent.

This year’s event will feature a young people’s workshop led by Pete Letanka, a panel discussion exploring the challenges faced by those with intersectional identities, a showcase of emerging performers, and a live podcast event.
