BAPAM Moves Healthy Performance Events Online

The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) have set themselves up to begin running their training events online, with course topics ranging from vocal health to injury prevention and keeping mentally well.

Each of these introductory two-hour sessions are designed for performing arts professionals and students. You will learn about the risk factors and key strategies to maintaining a sustainable career.

How to attend

All events are free to register for, and musicians do not have to be MU members. They will be held over a web video platform. Further details on logging in will be released to those who have signed up.

As these are live streams, each course will still be held at a specific date and time. Please only register if you can attend for the full two hours.

MU Addresses MPs on Music Education

The MU addressed MPs on music education, warning that stagnant funding, university course closures and worsening conditions for teachers are putting the future of music education at risk. The General Secretary also followed up on her meeting with Chancellor Rachel Reeves.
