About the event

Join us at Nerve Centre to discuss everything you need to know about working as a recording musician (and how to earn a living doing so). We’d also like to encourage you to join us for a free drink and networking afterwards.

We’ll delve into:

  • your rights as a musician
  • all things copyright
  • how to protect your rights no matter what the project, performance or recording is
  • royalties and licensing agreements in terms of those that the MU administers
  • the differences and synergies between these and the work of PPL and PRS and licensing your own music.

Awareness of these areas, especially often overlooked ones like MU royalties for session musicians, is key to ensuring you have all the tools and knowledge you need to prosper as a musician.

We look forward to seeing you there!
