Accessibility:

The MU makes every effort to ensure that all events we organise are accessible to everyone who would like to attend. We want to provide equal access to our events for all our members. If you have any access requirements you would like us to be aware of, please contact rose.delcour.min@theMU.org at least one-week ahead of the event to discuss what you need.

About the event

In 2017 Tarana Burke’s #MeToo movement broke into the mainstream and hasn’t stopped since. In response to this, the MU launched the Safe Space scheme for musicians to share instances of sexism, sexual harassment and sexual abuse in the music industry.

Chaired by Naomi Pohl, Deputy General Secretary at the MU, this panel will discuss the specific ways that sexual harassment impacts DJs and electronic music communities and reflect on how we can continue the work to challenge the culture of sexual harassment, sexism and empower musicians.
