About the event

Stress is inevitable in high performance environments like the creative industries. Building a positive stress mindset can support us to re-think our relationship with stress.

How can we interact with our life stressors and tune into the positive stress that allows us to be productive without destabilising our lives?

By the end of this session you should be able to:

  • Clarify that stress evolved to focus on negative stress rather than positive stress.
  • Identify precisely how and where stress is impacting you negatively.
  • Describe the differentials between negative stress and positive stress.
  • Discern the differences between threat and challenge – shift your mindset and identify your resources.
  • Redefine your stress narratives and language.
  • Create a ‘recovery from stress’ plan for your own life.
