About the event

This event brings together PRS for Music along with the MU, Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) and Music Managers Forum (MMF), in order to help members understand the PRS reporting process in relation to live concerts.

Kelly Wood (MU National Organiser - Live, Theatre & Music Writers) will be talking to Ian Edgley (PRS Senior Relationship Manager, Live) alongside David Martin (FAC CEO) andPaul Bonham(MMF Professional Development Director).

The session will detail PRS royalties in the live sector, and how artists performing their own material can ensure they receive royalties due to them.

Areas for discussion will include when artists should join PRS, how performances can be reported in order to receive royalties, and how to calculate the amount of money due from a performance.

We'll also look at the online reporting process, including the way in which managers can report performances on behalf of their artists.

There will be the opportunity for attendee to ask questions as part of the session.

How to attend

The event will take place online, and is free for MU / FAC / MMF members. A Zoom link will be emailed to attendees prior to the event.
