About the event

We are inviting new members in Northern Ireland to our online event where we explore how to make the most of your MU membership. 

We will cover: 

  • Meet the team: Meet your local officials who will be your main point of contact for all MU related enquiries. 
  • Explore your membership benefits: Learn all about our key benefits from our contract advisory service, band agreements, insurances, legal advice and assistance, collective bargaining and much more. 
  • Updates on the latest lobbying efforts: Find out what the MU is doing to represent you in everything from working in the EU post-Brexit to equitable renumeration in streaming, and much more! 
  • Getting involved: Learn about all the ways to get involved in your Union, from committees, to activism, to sharing ideas and getting involved, there are lots of ways to be an active member of your Union. 
  • Ask the officials: Got any burning questions? An opportunity to ask us questions about what the MU does and how we support members. 
  • Meet other members: Meet other new MU members in a friendly online environment. Please supply your own tea and biscuits! 

All members are welcome, whether you’ve joined in the last 12 months or been a member for a while and want to refresh your knowledge of the MU membership benefits etc.
