Free Webinars on Online Music Teaching Open for Registration

The Music Education Partnership Group (MEPG) have launched a series of free webinars for teachers and practitioners in Scotland.

The Music Education Partnership Group (MEPG) is an organisation which exists to nurture, sustain and protect Scotland's world-class music education systems, and are offering the educational webinars to musicians free of charge.

Please note that these webinars are open to members living and working in Scotland, only.

The following classes are currently planned, and interested members are encouraged to book their places in advance:

Beginners Guide to Online Music Teaching for those who have had very little technology experience, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Wednesday 28 October
An Introduction to MS Teams for those who have never used Teams before, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Tuesday 3 November
An Introduction to G Suite for those who have never used google G Suite before, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Thursday 5 November
An Introduction to Zoom for those who have never used Zoom before, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Tuesday 10 November
An Introduction to Vscene for those who have never used Vscene before, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Wednesday 11 November
An Introduction to GLOW for those who have never used GLOW before, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Thursday 12 November
How to make a Video (Session 1), 3:00 – 5:00pm on Tuesday 17 November
Virtual Group Music Teaching (Session 1), 3:00 – 5:00pm on Wednesday 18 November
Music Making Online featuring ideas, strategies and technology to help reach pupils with additional needs, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Thursday 19 November
How to make a Video (Session 2) following on from Session 1 on 17 October, 3:00 pm – 5.00 pm on Tuesday 24 November
Virtual Group Music Teaching (Session 2) a follow on from the session on 18 October, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Wednesday 25 November
Music Making Online (Session 2) discussing ideas, strategies and technology to help reach pupils with additional needs - this will follow on from Session 1 on the 19 November, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Thursday 26 November
