Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Agreement

RPOAT and MU House Agreement effective from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029

Established in 1932, the award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre (RPOAT) is one of the largest theatres in London. The theatre is celebrated for its bold and dynamic productions, with audiences of over 140,000 each year during its 18-week season.

The RPOAT & MU agreement is available in PDF format and contains the terms and conditions for musicians working at the theatre. The agreement covers: 

• Rates of pay
• Technical calls
• Deputies
• Recorded music
• Actor-musicians
• Band-room access
• MU Band Steward and Health & Safety Representative provisions
• Subsistence, travel and other terms as set out in the UK Theatre/MU Agreement

This agreement is effective from 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2029, after which it will continue unless terminated or revised in accordance with the review provisions.
