Agreement

An agreement between Making Music and Musicians' Union for self-employed professional musicians for orchestral, choral, large ensemble and other similar concerts by smaller ensembles (e.g. Brass Band, Wind Orchestra, Strings, Percussion or mixed) musicians working for non-professional orchestras

  • It includes minimum recommended rates
  • It is tailored to amateur music groups

Rates of pay for freelance players effective from 1 October 2024

Concert rates

a concert of up to three hours in length with a rehearsal of up to three hours in length on the same day
