About Steve Luff

Hi, my name is Steve Luff, I am a professional musician who resides in Stafford, Staffordshire.

You can regularly find me gigging around the UK, playing my own blend of soulful music and acoustic Blues guitar in some of the UK’s top Jazz & Blues venues. I am one part of a duo called The Delta Aces but also perform solo under my birth name. When not performing I teach private music lessons from my home via my own business called Guitar Beginners Stafford.

I have been recognised critically for my Delta Blues guitar playing and have perfomed on stage for over 20 years. I have also performed abroad and have probably played at every type of venue you can imagine such as theatres, bars, clubs, outdoor stage's and on live radio. I am set to headline the acoustic stage at The Great British R&B Festival in August 2026.

I am a completely self taught musician who was inspired to pick up the guitar after watching the acclaimed Welsh singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph perform in my early teens. I have predominantly performed solo throughout my career and have met some notable musicians throughout my years on stage.
