About Philip Bishop
Philip is a brass teacher with a strong private teaching practice, teaching both from home and in Surrey schools.
He plays frequently on trumpet, french horn and double bass, in orchestras, chamber groups, big bands, brass bands and small jazz groups. Past solo performances include the Arutunian trumpet concerto.
He has a PhD in physics and has studied music at both the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Goldsmith’s College.
