About Daniel Trodden

I was born in Cardiff in 1983 and, after moving to London to study at the RAM in 2002, began freelancing in the area upon graduation in 2006. This was mainly in the orchestral/classical sector (Philharmonia, LSO, LPO, Sinfonietta and RPO, amongst others), but there was some rock and pop work (These New Puritans, The Who and Paul Weller). In 2011 I was offered the Principal Tuba post at BBC NOW and moved back to Cardiff, where I’ve been MU Steward and MU H&S Rep since August 2020.
