Musicians in Newport Encouraged to Complete Short Survey

Take CULT Cymru’s short survey, and help them identify whether there’s an interest in networking between creatives in the Newport area for potential collaboration, community engagement and more.

CULT Cymru's joint-union learning programme is working in partnership with Urban Circle Newport (UCN - a socially engaged production house) to develop and deliver a range of learning and industry engagement sessions with young adults in the Newport area.

They want to engage with local creatives (across all sectors) to identify whether there's an interest in meeting other creatives in the Newport area for e.g. potential collaboration, information sharing, training, community engagement, general networking etc.

Landmark Employment Rights Bill Becomes Law

MU Urges Government to Back Musicians on AI

The MU is urging the Government to drop its original AI proposal after the interim consultation response revealed overwhelming opposition. With only 3% of respondents backing the preferred option, ministers must now deliver robust regulation to protect musicians’ rights.
