MU Advice on Copyright in Education Featured on Podcast

Our London Regional Officer, Natalie Witts, appeared on the Music Teachers Association podcast, discussing crucial information that teachers need to know before embarking on virtual Christmas Concerts.

The podcast, “Teaching Notes,” which is published weekly can be streamed directly from the Music Teachers Association website, as well as on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Natalie Witts is speaking on Episode 23 from roughly seven minutes in, with a second segment due to be released next week on Episode 24.

In the episode she discusses:

  • Music Education and Copyright – what you can and can’t do
  • Live streaming concerts including copyright material
  • Transcriptions and arrangements
  • Licences – what they are and when you need them
