The MU has spoken to a group of female musicians, calling themselves Solidarity Not Silence, who are being sued for defamation after speaking out about harassment they suffered.

They are facing huge legal bills as a result of the action against them but are determined to keep fighting as a matter of principle. They have set up a crowdfunder to help cover their legal costs.

Information about the case has been covered by the Guardian.
