BBC Academy’s Lockdown Learning Now Open to FEU Freelance Members

The BBC Academy have opened up their training programs to members of the Federation of Entertainment Unions – of which the MU is a part. Our members can now pick up training on a wide variety of programs between 18 May and 31 July.

Access for FEU freelance members is free of charge, with the FEU paying to cover basic costs and overhead recovery. Your MU membership entitles you to free membership of the FEU, but you will need to register on their website.

After 30 years of making factual entertainment television, more on the entertainment, than on the factual. Andrew Fettis explores the minefield of finding the humour and entertainment in amongst the facts, the fiction and the editorial policy makers.

The MU Returns to Great Escape Festival 2024

As part of our work with the Council of Music Makers, the MU will be taking part in various panel events during the festival’s industry conference, which is being held 15 - 18 May in Brighton. Some of our Officers will also be available for one-to-ones for any members attending.
