Dr Ed Jones
Dr Ed Jones spent many years as a full-time employed professional musician, and latterly building a self-employed freelance portfolio. He continues performing weekly – directing choirs, playing organ, accompanying, and singing while recording the occasional CD. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree with first class honours, a PhD in choral composition and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists.
Since leaving full time music, he has retrained as a regulated Financial Adviser and Planning Consultant. A long-standing member of the Musicians’ Union, he has now found a career balance of Financial Advice and Music which is extremely fulfilling. He is attached to the firm Quilter, who can provide advice in every aspect of one’s financial journey. Ed is qualified to give advice on investments, insurances, pensions, mortgages, tax efficiency and future planning.
