About the event

This session is for anyone in the creative industries who is interested in developing their understanding of psychological and physical resilience and applying this to their day-to-day life.

In this session you will actively explore and work with your own experiences to understand how you can create more stability, inner strength and resilience whilst working in high performance environments in the creative sector.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the basics of how your brain evolved to impact your mind and body
  • Name the 3 key zones within the emotional brain which determine our thoughts, feelings and behaviours
  • Discern how your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours are impacting your resilience levels
  • Identify your own burnout patterns and resilience patterns and how these affect you
  • Create a practical plan to build sustainable resilience into your life
